Airlooms
Coming of age as a young queer artist in San Francisco in the mid-2000s, Airlooms documents my art world training under an abusive mentor and my fascination/obsession with his falling out with the superstar artist Richard Prince over the exhibition “Fugitive Artist.” This series examines what duties we have to our own histories when rewriting them in our favor seems almost automatic. This is white, male privilege unpacked across three generations.
